A Real NLE Inside After Effects!? Sora is DEAD!?!? | Motion Mondays
OpenAI pulls the plug on Sora, we made a book just for you, and a motion designer just shipped an After Effects editor that Adobe should have built years ago.
OpenAI pulls the plug on Sora, we made a book just for you, and a motion designer just shipped an After Effects editor that Adobe should have built years ago.
Railcut is a new After Effects extension from Jake Bartlett that brings a real track-based editing timeline into AE — clips, tracks, waveforms, ripple and slip tools, the works. We also cover Sora's abrupt shutdown and what it means for motion designers building workflows around AI video tools.
Also, Adobe Project Neo gets a real 2D mode, Spline launches Omma for AI-driven 3D web experiences, Gaussian Splat Studio brings native splat workflows into Cinema 4D, and GSG and KitBash3D are teasing something big on April 7th. Plus GMUNK, Imaginary Forces, and a stunning Rive interactive film round out the cool work section. And Finally, our free 500 Studios book just launched, the NAB MoGraph Meetup is April 19th in Las Vegas, and our student of the week Adam Wilson drops a great line about the robot uprising.
