Plugins for ALL + Maxon Doubles Down on Autograph | Motion Mondays

Maxon made Autograph free for entire studios this week, and there are more plugins dropping than we know what to do with.

Autograph is now free for teams with no seat limits, no output restrictions, and no time limit — that's a full motion graphics and compositing app, commercial use included, for zero dollars. We get into why Maxon is doing this and what it means for the broader shift toward a free professional pipeline.

On the plugin side: Mikey Borup fixed After Effects' broken gradient ramp with Better Ramp, and Lazy Cracker just made Blender destruction actually art-directable. Also, Rive opened its AI Agent to all users, Figma Draw got serious about illustration, and LFO Design dropped a free procedural material toolkit for C4D and Redshift. The aescripts Summer of Sales kicks off this week with 25 percent off. Plus Gaussian splat clouds from Pixel Lab, a student spotlight, work from Escafandra Studio and Flow, and a look at how Black Math is using AI on production work.
